What are Balanced Life Groups?

Balanced Life Groups (BLGs) are designed to help you build relationships and grow in your spiritual life with God by promoting friendships, encouragement, bible study, prayer and a heart for serving others. Take a break from the busy demands of everyday life and invest in what is really important: your relationship with God and your relationship with the people around you.

Most Balanced Life Groups consist of 5 to 15 people that meet every week for an hour and a half.  Our groups are led by specially trained facilitators and hosts who are passionate about discipleship and spiritual growth.

How do I prepare for a Balanced Life Group?

We encourage you to read the assignment text at least 2-3 times and come prepared to discuss what God has said to you through His Word during your study time.

Can I bring my children?

Absolutely!  One of the purposes of BLG’s is to foster an environment of community and children definitely play an important role.  The children will break into their own groups for discover time, so use this opportunity during the week to read and discuss God’s word with your children prior to your group meeting time. 

Can anyone attend a BLG?

Yes!  You do not have to be a member of ONE Church to attend and you can sign-up anytime.
